Now you may want to know what happened to your request that you sent earlier. Here is how to see who I requested to follow on Instagram
- Launch the Instagram App on your device and log in to your Account.
- Now tap on your Profile icon located at the bottom right corner of the screen.
- Click on the “Hamburger icon” that is shown in the top corner of the screen.
- Open the menu button and go to “Settings”.
- In the “Settings” menu tap on “Privacy”
- Under the option “Connections” go to “Your Activity”.
- Choose “Download your Information” and then enter your “Email Address”
- Now click on the “Request Download” button
- Tap on “Next”
- Finally hit “Done”.
- Now open the received mail with your Instagram data file and tap on “Download information”
- Once done, you need to unzip the downloaded file.
- Now open the followers and following folder > View pending follow requests file to see who you have requested to follow on Instagram.
Once you have done so, you can download all the pending request data on your Instagram.
Another Method to View Who You have Sent the Following Request

- Launch the Instagram app on your device and access your account
- Tap on the “Profile” icon
- Go to the “Hamburger” icon located at the top right corner
- Tap on “Settings”
- Go to “Security”> “Access Data”.
- Under the “connections” tab you can find “Current Follow request”.
- Here you will find all the usernames to whom you have sent a follow-up request. From here you can view pending requests and cancel the following request.
By navigating to the “Connections” tab you can check whom you follow on Instagram or have blocked on it.
How to Remove All Pending Requests
Canceling all the following requests is not possible at once, so you need to cancel all the requests one by one by navigating to their profile.
- Launch the Instagram app on your device and log in to our account.
- Now go to the Instagram Profile where have sent the following requests
- Click on the Requested Profile
- Tap on “Unfollow” to cancel follow request
Similarly, by navigating to each person’s profile, you can unfollow the request sent.
